Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Support tax preparation activities including data gathering and documentation
- Contribute to internal audits and compliance reviews
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for accurate record-keeping
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial planning
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Certification (CPA, CMA) preferred but not required
