As an Entry-Level Accountant, you'll work alongside CPAs and finance professionals while gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and compliance. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare sales tax filings and other compliance documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
- Adhere to GAAP principles and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Recent graduate (0-2 years experience) with strong academic record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- QuickBooks knowledge preferred (training provided)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in data handling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
