- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor management
- Prepare financial statements and reports under senior supervision
- Support audit preparations and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
- Analyze financial data for operational improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial tasks
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles
- Valid Louisiana CPA eligibility (preferred but not required)
