Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct variance analysis for budget vs. actuals
- Collaborate with tax department during filing season
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (recent graduates encouraged)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- 1 year relevant internship or part-time experience preferred
- CPA candidacy or active pursuit of certification a plus
