Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for transaction recording
- Collaborate with tax team on quarterly filings and documentation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (2020-2024 graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA exam candidates or recent graduates preferred
