Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial records, including digital and physical documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of tax schedules and supporting documentation.
- Perform basic bookkeeping duties and assist with audit preparation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong academic background with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
