Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum AI and synthetic biology advancements
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive pre-commercial technologies
- Collaborate with VPs of Product and Engineering to prioritize R&D investments
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and external innovation partners
- Build and lead a specialized futures research team
- Author annual technology impact reports for investors and stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in emerging tech strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in technology convergence frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of Web3, neuromorphic computing, and climate tech
