Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 2026 market impact potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for adopting breakthrough innovations (quantum, AGI, bio-digital convergence)
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Design and execute innovation sprints with engineering teams
- Present technology foresight briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Represent company at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in tech foresight (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech innovation ecosystems
