Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI autonomy
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of 15+ engineers, designers, and futurists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget for emerging tech incubation
- Forge strategic partnerships with NASA, MIT Media Lab, and global policy bodies
- Develop patent portfolios for at least 3 breakthrough technologies annually
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite boards and investor summits
- Drive ethical AI governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with 5+ in C-suite roles
- Proven track record scaling tech teams from prototype to global deployment
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Systems Engineering
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Fluency in at least 2 programming languages (Python, Rust, or Go preferred)
- Deep expertise in blockchain, neural interfaces, or synthetic biology
- Experience securing government grants and private equity for R&D initiatives
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
