Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of researchers, engineers, and product strategists
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budget across innovation projects
- Present technology roadmaps and breakthrough initiatives to executive stakeholders
- Drive adoption of future-ready technologies across all business units
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with proven 10+ year strategic planning experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, Web3, biotech)
- Track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive audiences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends
- Experience managing $10M+ budgets and cross-functional teams
