What You Will Do:
You will be responsible for the accuracy of our financial records, leading monthly close processes, and providing critical insights to leadership. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
- Support external audit requirements and internal controls implementation.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial reporting and business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly desired.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of US tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
