Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for over 200 employees on a bi-weekly schedule using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws, including FLSA and ACA regulations.
- Process garnishments, benefits deductions, and retirement contributions accurately and on time.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll reports, variance analyses, and tax filings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Collaborate with the HR team to update employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, QuickBooks, or similar HRIS platforms.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors before they occur.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll concepts to non-finance staff.
