As a Daily Pay Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our clients and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures accurately and on time.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
- Assist with external audits and tax preparation support.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
