Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and financial audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to input financial data and generate reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls and reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a busy office environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites occasionally.
