Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct detailed bank reconciliations and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts, variance analysis, and financial reports for executive leadership.
- Process payroll entries and ensure timely tax filings and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to streamline financial operations and data management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
