Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations for commercial and consumer lending portfolios
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes (FCRA, BSA, etc.) impacting credit decisions
- Develop accurate cash flow projections and debt service coverage analyses
- Present findings to credit committees with clear data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial modeling and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong understanding of credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- CFP, CFA, or CRCM certification preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
