Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for portfolio review
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure credit facilities aligned with client needs
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Document credit analyses in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Present findings to credit committees and senior leadership
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic factors impacting credit decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment tools
- Expertise in interpreting balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements
- Familiarity with credit bureau reports and industry-specific risk factors
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
