The Role:
You will support our credit team in evaluating loan applications, analyzing financial health, and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis of financial statements and credit applications to determine creditworthiness.
- Conduct research on potential borrowers and industry trends to inform lending decisions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the credit management database.
- Identify potential credit risks and assist senior analysts in developing mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
