Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of credit applications, financial statements, and borrower profiles to determine creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models to assess risk exposure and loan portfolio health.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approvals, renewals, or restructures.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial distress or changing risk factors.
- Collaborate with underwriting and sales teams to provide expert insights on credit policy and loan structuring.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder reporting.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
