Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of credit applications, financial statements, and banking histories to determine risk levels.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions to maintain, audit, and organize complex client data.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan approval or denial.
- Monitor existing accounts for early signs of financial distress or delinquency.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to refine internal credit policies and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
