Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and creditworthiness of corporate and commercial clients
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with senior analysts to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay current with banking regulations (FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve guidelines)
- Present findings and recommendations to credit committees
- Support portfolio management through regular risk reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience (recent graduates welcome with paid training)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to obtain FINRA Series 7/63 licenses during training
