Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth credit analysis on loan applications and customer accounts to determine creditworthiness.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to assess risk factors.
- Prepare and maintain accurate credit files and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Develop and update credit scoring models and internal risk criteria.
- Communicate credit decisions and terms clearly to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Monitor existing accounts for early signs of financial distress or default.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or a similar financial role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Familiarity with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
