Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Calculate risk scores and determine appropriate credit limits for new and existing clients.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for the credit committee.
- Monitor customer accounts for signs of financial distress or delinquency.
- Develop and maintain credit policy guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to facilitate smooth loan approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial modeling and credit scoring models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
