Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for loan approval or denial
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Present complex financial analyses clearly to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with commercial loan documentation and regulatory compliance
