Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for portfolio management
- Monitor existing credit facilities and initiate adjustments based on changing economic conditions
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal financing solutions for commercial clients
- Maintain accurate credit documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop financial models for cash flow analysis and debt service capacity evaluation
- Present credit risk assessments to senior leadership for final approval decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit scoring systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit policies, and risk management frameworks
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or CFA) preferred but not required
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting complex financial information
