Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports for senior management
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions aligned with company policies
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Present findings to credit committees and recommend approval/rejection decisions
- Document all credit analysis activities in compliance with regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software and Excel
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial details
- Experience with credit risk assessment frameworks (e.g., 5 Cs of Credit)
- Ability to interpret complex financial documents and market trends
- Excellent communication skills for presenting credit recommendations
