Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry-specific standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits to identify potential risks and implement effective corrective actions.
- Develop, update, and communicate company policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legal requirements.
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Train staff on compliance-related topics, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations or irregularities promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a compliance, risk management, or auditing role.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry codes of conduct.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification such as CFE, CIPP, or CRCM is a plus.
