Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in company processes.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Prepare and submit detailed compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing within a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., FINRA, SEC, HIPAA, or industry-specific regulations).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Professional certifications such as CCE, CFE, or CPA are a plus.
