Responsibilities
- Monitor & Audit: Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Regulatory Research: Stay abreast of changes in compliance laws and industry standards to advise the organization on necessary adjustments.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Investigation: Investigate potential violations or discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Education: Train staff and management on compliance standards and best practices to foster a culture of accountability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory concepts clearly.
- Experience: Previous experience in a compliance, auditing, or regulatory role is preferred but not required for our paid training program.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated individual who can work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance management software is a plus.
