Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive internal audits and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop, implement, and continuously update internal compliance policies and procedures to reflect current laws.
- Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards to advise leadership on necessary operational adjustments.
- Prepare and submit accurate regulatory reports to government bodies and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance protocols, ethics, and best practices.
- Investigate potential violations of compliance policies and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of corporate governance, FINRA regulations, or relevant industry standards.
- Professional certification such as CCEP, CFP, or JD is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training purposes.
