Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of fleet equipment and maintenance logs to ensure full regulatory adherence.
- Monitor and interpret DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations, ensuring all company operations remain compliant.
- Investigate and resolve non-compliance issues, including equipment defects and safety violations.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff on proper equipment handling and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and ensure equipment readiness.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance documentation and reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance auditing within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Deep knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and equipment safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulatory texts.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
