Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of all provided equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA and local safety standards.
- Develop and implement rigorous compliance policies and procedures tailored to our operational needs.
- Monitor and report on regulatory changes to ensure our equipment and processes remain up-to-date.
- Investigate internal incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Train staff on proper equipment usage and safety protocols to minimize risk.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital logs and documentation for all compliance activities.
- Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement in safety culture.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associateās degree or Bachelorās degree in Safety Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance, safety inspection, or equipment management.
- Valid OSHA 30 or 40-hour certification is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations regarding heavy equipment and safety gear.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify potential risks before they become issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise compliance software.
- Must be able to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
