Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs aligned with FINRA, SEC, and GDPR regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits to identify compliance gaps
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for executive stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Train employees on regulatory requirements and ethical business conduct
- Investigate potential violations and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor industry regulatory changes and update policies accordingly
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and HR departments on compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of compliance experience in fintech or regulated industries
- Strong knowledge of federal/state regulations (e.g., CCPA, SOX, AML)
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) or equivalent preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in compliance software and data analysis tools
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with policy development and risk mitigation strategies
