Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance programs aligned with HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS regulations
- Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits across clinical and operational departments
- Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective action plans
- Provide comprehensive compliance training to 500+ employees and leadership
- Stay current with evolving healthcare regulations and industry best practices
- Liaise with legal counsel and regulatory bodies during audits and inquiries
- Maintain accurate compliance documentation and reporting systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field required
- 5+ years of compliance experience in healthcare or regulated industry
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of Alaska state healthcare regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience developing compliance training programs
- Proficiency with compliance management software (e.g., MetricStream, Compliance 360)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
