Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local regulations to ensure organizational compliance
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify compliance gaps
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to resolve compliance issues
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies
- Stay updated on industry changes and emerging regulatory trends
- Lead internal investigations and remediation efforts for compliance violations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs
- Strong knowledge of FINRA, SEC, and California state regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex compliance concepts clearly
- Experience with compliance software and data analysis tools
- Professional certifications (CRCM, CAMS) preferred
