What You Will Do:
- Lead the 2026 Strategic Roadmap: Define and execute a comprehensive technology strategy that positions Nexus Horizon as a market leader in the years leading up to 2026.
- Drive Innovation: Spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies (AI, Blockchain, IoT) to enhance product capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Technical Governance: Establish architectural standards and best practices to ensure system scalability, security, and reliability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the C-Suite and product teams to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 Vision: Create and maintain the long-term technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
- Manage Engineering Teams: Direct the engineering department, overseeing project lifecycles from conception to deployment.
- Drive R&D: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to integrate into our product suite.
- Optimize Infrastructure: Lead initiatives to improve cloud architecture, data management, and system performance.
- Brand Advocacy: Represent the technology department externally, speaking at conferences and engaging with the tech community.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CTO, VP of Engineering, or CTO).
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of defining long-term technology strategies and executing them successfully.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and modern programming languages.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and lead high-performing engineering teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
