Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and financial records
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process payroll, reconcile bank accounts, and manage tax compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Develop financial forecasting models and budget tracking systems
- Train staff on accounting procedures and financial controls
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
