Your Role:
In this position, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring our clients' books are up to date and accurate. You will work closely with our accounting team to provide insights and maintain compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process and record transactions in QuickBooks and/or Xero accurately and timely.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes and payroll support.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal and financial requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is essential.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
