Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and year-end financial audits.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or desktop software is highly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
