Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely weekly disbursements to employees.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
