Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statements.
- Prepare and issue invoices, ensuring timely payment collection and accurate billing.
- Process weekly payroll for all employees with high accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are correct.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax filings as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
