Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero platforms
- Process weekly payroll for 50+ employees with precision
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Prepare VAT returns and HMRC submissions
- Generate monthly financial reports for client review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable workflows
- Assist with year-end audits and financial compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Microsoft Excel
- UK accounting certification (AAT or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Experience with weekly payroll processing
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Knowledge of UK tax regulations and HMRC requirements
