Responsibilities

  • General Ledger Management: Accurately record daily journal entries and maintain the general ledger for multiple client accounts.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly and weekly reconciliations of bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and process payroll for various entities, ensuring strict adherence to payroll laws and tax regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss reports, for client review.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Assist in year-end audits and ensure all financial practices comply with GAAP and internal controls.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) are a plus.
  • Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Schedule Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays on a recurring basis.
