Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll accurately and timely using [Software Name].
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to produce accurate reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting is a plus.
