Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.</li><li>Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.</li><li>Prepare and issue invoices, bills, and account statements while monitoring payment schedules.</li><li>Maintain and update the company's fixed asset register and inventory records.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management review.</li><li>Process payroll functions accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations.</li><li>Assist in year-end audits and tax preparation filings where required.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.</li><li>Proven proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial information.</li></ul>
