Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
- Process and reconcile monthly accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and issue monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage petty cash funds.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Utilize Xero or QuickBooks to streamline accounting workflows and reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; CPA certification is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and available for immediate start.
