Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations with precision.
- Prepare and post general ledger entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and budgets.
- Process payroll accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience as a Bookkeeper or in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or CPA preferred.
