Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate recording of transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing trial balances and financial statements.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports for multiple clients.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and tax purposes.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (Advanced) and/or Xero.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and discrepancies.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
