Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform accurate bank reconciliations and credit card statements monthly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and budgets.
- Tax Prep Support: Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and tax preparation documentation.
- Payroll Administration: Process payroll accurately for employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for client financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and ensure accuracy in data entry.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
