Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software efficiently
- Provide financial insights to clients during consultations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Nebraska state tax regulations
- Experience with multiple client account management
